Principal Environmental Planning Project Manager

About the role

Lead a team of professionals in the design and implementation of sustainable infrastructure solutions. Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines
• Oversee project teams to ensure quality and adherence to project plans
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliverables
• Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate project progress effectively
• Conduct regular reviews and updates on project status
• Ensure all projects meet environmental and sustainability goals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in sustainable infrastructure projects
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing multidisciplinary teams
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in project management tools and software

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Experience with sustainable design methodologies and green building certifications (LEED, BREEAM, etc.)
• Knowledge of construction materials and methods
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

$80,000 - $100,000 annually
