Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems sector is currently seeking a Principal (Level 3) Environmental Engineer to join our EHS team and support our growing business at our Elk River, MN location. The site is a dynamic defense development facility that processes, assembles and tests military ammunition and munitions. Our Elk River location consists of a 3,200 acre facility with over 30 active buildings.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, review and analyze regulations issued by the county, MN Pollution Control Agency and Federal EPA to determine potential impacts to operations and establish solutions to maintain compliance
- Prepare environmental emissions calculations, reporting, permitting, sampling and monitoring necessary to maintain compliance and internal company tracking is kept up to date.
