About the role
This role centers on fostering smooth collaboration among teams to drive feature development from idea to implementation, aligning with business objectives and user requirements. They also adjust their approach to enable rapid iteration by promoting adaptability, incorporating feedback promptly, and shifting priorities to consistently deliver value in dynamic and evolving environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement plans for large-scale AI programs, guiding them through the full lifecycle of feature development, including hypothesis validation, fine-tuning, evaluations, velocity improvements, and other critical stages such as requirements gathering, risk assessment, and resource allocation.
- Maintain a comprehensive, technical end-to-end understanding of the solution under development and its upstream and downstream dependencies and impacts.
- Maintain a deep, thorough insight into strategies involved in early feature market fit identification.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Keep contributing teams unblocked by rapidly moving to resolve any issues that have the potential to impact the overall schedule.
- Define and drive the processes the GenAI Initiative will use to coordinate, communicate, and resolve cross-team issues.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration and coordination to enhance overall project outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Technical Program Management experience, including experience leading and mentoring other PGMs.
- A strong track record of influencing product strategy, slicing, and execution models for complex technical initiatives.
- Deep understanding of GenAI core technologies, including LLMs, embeddings, prompt orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, and inference infrastructure.
- Demonstrated success leading GenAI feature creation from zero-to-one while managing multiple concurrent workstreams and features.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps and MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and service reliability for AI-powered systems.
- Proven success delivering large-scale programs across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Excellent influencing, communication, and collaboration skills, including the ability to guide and mentor senior PGMs and partner effectively with Product leadership.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
