Job Summary (Principal Engineer - Ecommerce, AEM, AI, React) Serve as technical visionary and senior individual contributor for the end-to-end architecture, standards, and long-term roadmap of the digital commerce platform. Provide high-level technical leadership and influence across all engineering teams and technology stacks, impacting every customer interaction. Contribute to a micro-frontend architecture combining React-based SPAs, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) headful pages, Node.js/Java API layer, GraphQL federation, and AWS cloud infrastructure. Drive the adoption and integration of AI-assisted development practices, including evaluating and standardizing AI tools across teams. Set examples and best practices for high-velocity, AI-augmented engineering at scale. Leverage 10+ years of software engineering experience across both frontend and backend disciplines. Establish and enforce technical standards, drive architectural decisions, and influence teams without formal management responsibilities. Demonstrate expert knowledge of modern frontend technologies: React, Next.js, SPAs, micro-frontend architecture, and component-driven design. Apply deep experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including integration patterns, Editable Templates, component authoring, and frontend/AEM interoperability. Design and implement production-grade agentic AI solutions, including autonomous agents, orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen), tool-integrated reasoning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, with a proven track record of taking solutions from proof-of-concept to scalable deployment.
