About the role
Lead IT project strategies in software architecture & development of digital, data, and AI solutions, leveraging cloud-native, event-driven, and serverless architectures.
Lead teams in implementing & operating secure, scalable, and resilient architectures for automation, observability, and self-service platforms.
Design & implement real-time data, analytics, and AI solutions.
Mentor & train engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design & operate GxP Lakehouses in compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 and EudraLex Annex 11 using AWS Sagemaker Unified Studio, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Implement Zero-Trust and Governance-as-Code to automate security controls.
- Use Terraform to automate Installation Qualification and Operational Qualification documentation within CI/CD and/or DevSecOps pipelines and regulatory workloads.
- Design & implement real-time Agentic AI strategies and life sciences business flows for autonomous reasoning and RAG implementations.
- Scale AI-MLOps using SageMaker, EKS, and/or Databricks, including Federated Learning & Explainable AI for clinical validation.
- Manage application of Differential Privacy, Safety & Federated Learning to patient datasets for cross-border AI training.
- Lead application of these technologies within Global Capability Centers.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in C.S., Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
- 3 years of experience in a consumer health, life sciences and/or pharmaceutical environment.
- Experience with AWS Sagemaker Unified Studio, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience with Zero-Trust and Governance-as-Code.
- Experience with Terraform.
- Experience with SageMaker, EKS, and/or Databricks.
- Experience with Federated Learning & Explainable AI.
- Experience with Differential Privacy, Safety & Federated Learning.
Qualifications
- Experience with real-time data, analytics, and AI solutions.

Pay
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $190,000.00 to $225,000.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
Schedule
Telecommuting permissible from home office location within reasonable commuting distance of St. Louis, MO up to 2 days per week. Up to 20% U.S. and int’l travel req’d.
