Responsibilities
- Define the enterprise strategy and architecture for defending against AI-enabled threats, including automated vulnerability discovery, exploitation, adversarial AI techniques, and generative AI threat patterns.
- Lead development of scalable detection and response capabilities, telemetry strategies, response playbooks, automation, and defensive applications of AI across enterprise environments.
- Build AI-focused threat models, lead research into emerging adversarial techniques, and maintain expertise in frameworks such as OWASP LLM Top 10 and MITRE ATLAS.
- Partner with Cyber Defense, IAM, Application Security, product, and engineering teams to embed AI security requirements into architecture decisions while influencing senior leadership on AI risk posture and required investments.
- Establish AI security standards, guardrails, detection frameworks, and secure engineering patterns.
- Evaluate security technologies and vendors, mentor engineers, and build AI security expertise across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of experience in security engineering or a related field, including proven experience defining and executing enterprise security strategy.
- Deep knowledge of modern threats, attack techniques, detection engineering, threat modeling, incident response, security operations, and enterprise security architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to influence both technical and executive stakeholders and translate complex AI security risks into actionable guidance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with AI/ML systems and security implications.
- Knowledge of adversarial AI techniques and AI threat modeling.
- Experience with XDR, SIEM, and detection engineering practices.
- Familiarity with AI security frameworks, including OWASP LLM Top 10 and MITRE ATLAS.
- Financial services industry experience.
