Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
- Experience: 8+ years of related experience of endpoint engineering, desktop engineering, or end-user experience roles
Required Skills
- Strong scripting experience
- Desktop administration / endpoint engineering experience
- Experience querying data using SQL / SQLite
- Experience analyzing operational or performance data
- Troubleshooting Windows endpoint issues at scale
- Experience building automation for operational efficiency
Preferred Skills
- Splunk power user experience (search, dashboards, alerts)
- Experience working with endpoint management platforms (SCCM, Intune, 1E, Tanium, etc.)
- Experience with endpoint analytics frameworks
- Experience building data pipelines for operational metrics
- Familiarity with user experience monitoring tools
- Experience integrating multiple endpoint tools into a single analytics view
- Knowledge of ITSM-driven automation
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Develop and maintain automation solutions using scripting (PowerShell, SQL, SQLite, SCALE, etc) to support endpoint management and operational workflows
Administer and support enterprise desktop environments (Windows preferred)
Create and maintain SQL queries and data sets to analyze endpoint performance and user experience metrics
Leverage analytics frameworks to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities across the desktop environment
Utilize Splunk dashboards, searches, and alerts to monitor endpoint health and operational KPIs
Automate remediation actions based on data-driven thresholds and performance indicators
Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and service desk teams to improve end-user experience
Build dashboards and reports for leadership and operational teams
Document automation workflows, scripts, and analytics models

Additional Information
The likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Travel Required: Less than 10%
Telecommuting Options: Onsite Work Location: USA MD Annapolis Junction
