Job Description

TEL San Jose Thin Films team seeks an experienced electrical engineer with expertise in applying RF design and electromagnetic principles to develop innovative deposition hardware.

Requirements

• Education and experience:
  • Advanced degree (Ph.D.) in electrical/electronic/computer engineering or related fields with 8+ years’ experience in electromagnetic processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic/computer engineering or related fields with 12+ years’ experience in electromagnetic processes
• Skills:
  • Data analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Coding and applying machine learning/AI techniques to accelerate learning and productivity
• Passion for technology; and strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Defines methods and procedures for fixing unprecedented technical challenges
• Leads projects involving multi-disciplinary teams spanning R&D, manufacturing, and customer collaboration globally
• Develops innovative principles, engineering practices, and business process improvements related to semiconductor hardware and device technologies
• Demonstrates exceptional technical leadership and communication skills and provides mentorship and technical direction broadly across the organization
• Participates in high level strategic decision making and influences TEL’s hardware product and technology roadmaps
• Ensures the successful delivery of business goals crucial to the company’s strategic objectives and reputation
