Responsibilities
- Establish the AI-first architecture principles from the perspective of AI platform, influencing how all-consuming platform domains adopt and scale AI.
- Design and architect strategies, pathways and decision trees to formulate an ecosystem for Agentic systems, Agent-to-Agent Communications, Agentic Orchestration, Intelligent Workflows (not only limited to data).
- Ensure the AI capabilities integrate seamlessly with all platform engineering domains which includes but is not limited to API gateways, data platform contracts, eventing systems, IAM endpoints, semantic layers.
- Partner with cross-platform domains to embed AI in “everything platform”, i.e. Observability, CI/CD, Data Platforms, DevEx, Security, Workplace Services, Incident and Problem management etc.
- Define standards for multi-agent and cross-agent collaboration, integration, policies and AI-to-system interaction patterns.
- Responsible for end-to-end AI Lifecycle Architecture which includes full AIOps, MLOps and LLMOps.
- Guide the architecture of the AI Platform – including LLM services, vector databases, feature stores, model serving infrastructure, agent frameworks and orchestration layers.
- Strategize the step-by-step roadmap for building foundational components required to establish strong AI foundation and infrastructure stack.
- Bring outside-in thinking and thought leadership to drive experimentation, PoCs on emerging AI trends paving a way forward to AI-augmented architectures and AI-driven productivity and deliveries.
Requirements
- Likely to be based in Tampa, FL.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- 8+ years of experience in engineering, ML, data platforms and/or distributed systems as a senior architect.
- Deep hands-on experience with modern cloud providers like AWS, Azure or GCP and AI/ML technology stack (including but not limited to LLMs, MCPs, K8s, Open AI, Snowflake, Databricks etc.).
- Deep knowledge about mechanics of building AI platform as a service, Agent to Agent Orchestration, Agentic Layer Integration, AI UX Layer and Conversational AI Models.
- Awareness of Responsible AI frameworks, evaluation standards and frameworks.
- Strong architecture skills in Distributed systems, Data engineering, Cloud Architectures and Platform Engineering.
- Experience with data governance, metadata systems, semantic layers and knowledge graphs.
- Experience in providing clear guidance on designing secure and regulated AI systems at the enterprise scale.
- Ability to break / decouple AI ecosystems into clear capabilities, standards and integration patterns.
- Prior experience in Platform Engineering and building horizontal shared or central capabilities.
Qualifications
- Annual Base Salary Range: $136,000 - $195,500
Skills
- Strong technical background in AI, ML, and distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of AI/ML technologies including LLMs, MCPs, K8s, Open AI, Snowflake, Databricks etc.
- Experience with data governance, metadata systems, semantic layers, and knowledge graphs.
