Principal DevOps Engineer II

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software and engineering teams for system deployment and operation
• Engage business partners focusing on business outcomes
• Utilize cloud experience for infrastructure management
• Build complete stack from Elastic Load Balancers to databases
• Automate operations and streamline processes
• Develop and maintain deployment, monitoring, and operations tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments
• Promote frequent code testing and deployment practices
• Commit to ongoing learning in DevOps and technology trends

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in deploying full application stacks with minimal downtime
• Proficient in coding or scripting
• Experience in re-engineering and process improvement
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Skills

• Linux/Unix administration
• SQL, MySQL, and NoSQL technologies
• Utilize a range of open-source technologies and cloud services

Pay

$140,000 – $160,000 annually
