Principal Designer / Design Lead – Workplace Interiors
The Role
Leading and developing the Boston design team, providing mentorship and creative direction
Remaining hands-on across projects, driving design from concept through to delivery
Acting as the senior design lead across multiple workplace and commercial interior projects
Leading presentations, pitches and workshops to help secure new business opportunities
Driving creative excellence while ensuring technical feasibility and commercial success
Overseeing high-quality drawing packages, FF&E specifications and Revit documentation
Coordinating with internal teams and external consultants to ensure seamless project delivery
Championing design standards, innovation and best practice across the studio
Working closely with delivery and leadership teams to ensure projects exceed client expectations
What We're Looking For
Extensive experience delivering workplace or commercial interior design projects
Previous experience leading or mentoring design teams
Proven experience delivering projects from concept through to site
Strong technical capability, including construction documentation and advanced Revit proficiency
Excellent client-facing skills with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders
Experience leading pitches, presentations and helping win new business
A designer who combines creative vision with technical credibility and commercial awareness
Experience within a design-and-build or fast-paced commercial environment is highly desirable
