About the role

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions for semiconductor customers — including high-performance computing environments for chip design, simulation, and verification.
  • Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery, incorporating smart manufacturing solutions such as industrial data fabric, digital twins, and computer vision for defect detection.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies for EDA workloads and manufacturing systems.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on semiconductor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices for cloud adoption.
  • Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts — including reference architectures and AI/ML workflows for accelerating the design-to-fab process.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience implementing cloud-based technology solutions, or experience architecting/operating solutions built on a cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes, EDA tools and workflows, or Industry 4.0/smart factory implementations.
  • 5+ years of customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists, or partners to solve business problems with cloud technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Professional level certification.
  • 4+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning), GenAI (Generative AI), Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience.
  • Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience with EDA tools and workflows (Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor) and high-performance computing for chip design and verification.
  • Knowledge of advanced manufacturing optimization techniques, digital twin technologies, and computer vision for defect detection.
  • Familiarity with industrial IoT protocols (OPC-UA, SECS/GEM), edge computing, and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
