Principal Data & Solution Architect

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Data & Solution Architect to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will shape scalable enterprise data architecture that supports engineering and product teams across a regulated environment. You will translate strategic direction into buildable solutions, with a strong emphasis on reusable data models, transformation logic, and data relationships. The position also calls for thoughtful use of AI and automation to improve design efficiency while maintaining quality and production readiness. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $137,300 – $228,900 annually Responsibilities Design reusable and scalable enterprise data models and solutions Create architecture artifacts for engineering and product teams Translate architectural directives into actionable designs Oversee the design of medallion architecture for multiple use cases Define transformation logic and data relationships Refactor bespoke solutions into centralized Silver models Apply AI and automation to enhance modeling efficiency Qualifications 5-7 years of experience as a data architect or solution architect in complex enterprise settings Expertise in medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) and reusable data modeling Proven ability to create buildable data models from architectural direction Hands-on experience in refactoring bespoke solutions into production-ready designs Knowledge of CI/CD processes and automated promotion to production environments Demonstrated capability to utilize AI and automation in design processes while maintaining quality Strong communication and leadership skills in a regulated enterprise context Benefits Medical, vision, and dental coverage from day one Well-being and behavioral health programs 401(k) plan with company contributions Company-paid life insurance Tuition reimbursement opportunities Minimum 18 days of paid time off plus paid holidays Leaves of absence available Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
