Principal Data Scientist - R01568403

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Data Scientist - R01568403 to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This role will lead advanced data science efforts that turn complex business questions into scalable analytical and machine learning solutions. The Principal Data Scientist will own the full lifecycle of model development, from hypothesis testing and forecasting through deployment and validation. This person will also partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, mentor junior team members, and help improve the efficiency of data pipelines and modeling workflows in a remote environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $180,000 – $190,000 annually Responsibilities Design and implement robust statistical models and machine learning algorithms Lead end-to-end development of data science projects from hypothesis testing to forecasting Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions Optimize and automate data pipelines for efficient processing Develop, validate, and maintain probabilistic graph models and advanced statistical frameworks Utilize leading ML frameworks for model building and deployment Mentor and guide junior data scientists on the team Qualifications 15-18 years of experience in advanced data science roles Extensive leadership experience in statistical and machine learning solution deployment Expertise in hypothesis testing, regression techniques, and advanced statistical methods Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and R Knowledge of probabilistic graph models and various machine learning frameworks Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field Benefits Opportunities for career growth and development Access to cutting-edge tools and technologies in AI and data analytics Collaborative and innovative work culture Exposure to large-scale data initiatives and impactful projects Engagement with a diverse team of experts in the field Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
