Principal Data Scientist – ML & AI model development

The Principal Data Scientist will join the Auto Consumer Strategy & Analytics group, reporting to the Data Science Director. Responsibilities include preparing, preprocessing, and validating consumer data for Ally Auto Finance; applying data science techniques to servicing analytics and asset‑management strategy; and supporting through‑the‑cycle predictive/quantitative modeling and advanced analytics for the Consumer Servicing Organization. The ideal candidate is passionate about data science and consumer risk analytics in banking/financial services, with strong SQL and Python skills, analytical prowess, and a drive to make an impact as a creative, critical thinker, storyteller, learner, and innovator.
