Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models in production environments.
- Mentor and uplift other engineers and data scientists.
- Drive architectural decisions and champion engineering excellence.
- Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for context-aware responses.
- Lead projects involving Natural Language Processing (NLP), speech recognition (ASR), and conversational AI.
- Decompose research and tactical deliverables into modular, reusable strategic capabilities.
- Collaborate with business, product, and engineering partners to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- AI/ML Experience: Hands-on expertise in designing, building, and deploying models with a deep understanding of MLOps standards (scalable architectures, reproducibility, monitoring, CI/CD, compliance).
- NLP & Linguistics: Extensive experience in entity recognition, text summarization, and conversational analytics.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python with modern ML libraries (PyTorch, transformers, etc.).
- Cloud Technologies: Experience with AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, Athena, Snowflake, and modern streaming technologies (Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Apache Pulsar).
- Generative AI: Demonstrated experience with RAG pipelines and integrating external knowledge sources.
- Audio/ML: Experience with audio data pipelines, speech recognition, audio-to-audio processing, and call transcription/voice assistants.
- Hardware Optimization: Hands-on CUDA/GPU optimization experience for accelerating AI/ML workloads.
- Leadership: Proven track record of technical leadership, including conducting code/design reviews and upskilling teams.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences, including technical writing skills.
Pay & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $126,000 - $255,000 USD per year (based on responsibilities, location, experience, and other factors).
