Principal, Data Governance Platforms

For our client, we are seeking a Principal, Data Governance Platforms to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will shape the architecture and implementation of enterprise data governance capabilities that support reliable, well-controlled data use across the organization. The focus is on building scalable governance platforms, enabling integration and transformation workflows, and improving visibility into how data moves and changes across cloud environments. You will partner closely with engineering and architecture teams to establish standards that strengthen data quality, consistency, and operational control. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience with governance platforms, enterprise data architecture, and cloud-based implementations, with healthcare industry experience adding valuable context in a regulated environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $149,882 – $224,823 annually Responsibilities Define technology architecture for enterprise data governance capabilities Lead implementation of governance platforms, including configuration and testing Enable governance-aligned data integration and transformation capabilities Design automated governance workflows within data pipelines Ensure comprehensive visibility into data flows and transformation logic Establish technical standards for governance platform operations Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to align governance solutions Qualifications 10+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or governance platform implementation Experience with enterprise-scale data governance or data management platforms Proven experience integrating governance tools in cloud-based environments Healthcare industry experience preferred, especially Medicare Advantage or payer environments Hands-on experience with enterprise data catalog, MDM, and data quality tools Benefits Comprehensive health insurance options Retirement savings plan with employer match Professional development opportunities Flexible work arrangements Generous paid time off policy Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
