Principal Cyber Operator/ Field Engineer (AHT)

This position is based in Colorado Springs, CO and requires 25% travel to remote sites, including foreign travel. Relocation assistance is not available. A U.S. Government Secret security clearance is required for start; candidates must be able to obtain and maintain this clearance. Must be able to obtain a US Passport and support after-hours and weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of Program systems, including climbing a 100 ft tower.
• Perform technical tasks and demonstrate problem-resolution actions for Program systems.
• Assist the Program Integrated Logistics Specialist (ILS) with logistics support, including shipping, receiving, kitting, Government Furnished Property/Equipment (GFP/GFE) inventory, and import/export.
• Provide input to operational analysis and quality evaluation of products, updating performance metrics.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnose malfunctions to resolve problems efficiently.
• Support after-hours and weekend work as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with 5 years of field engineering experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3 years of field engineering experience – OR – PhD with 1 year of field engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Ability to obtain a US Passport.

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction experience.
• Security+ certification.
• Electronics or RF background.
• Experience with Linux operating system.
• Experience writing plans, reports, and procedures.
• Valid/current US Passport.

Pay

Primary level salary range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00. Base salary offers consider factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Eligible employees may receive overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company performance. Vice President or Director positions may qualify for Long Term Incentives.
