  • Enablement: Build and drive programs to achieve organizational cloud readiness, fluency, and skills through skills guilds, experience-based accelerators, training partners, and other initiatives.
  • Governance: Establish and mature operating models and structures to drive scale and long-term success using the cloud adoption framework, cloud center of excellence, communities of practice, and other tools.
  • Develop the CSM Function: Define and implement scalable mechanisms, methodologies, and tools by collaborating with other CSMs and internal groups like Technical Field Communities (TFCs) to curate and distribute best practices.

  • Collaborate With Internal AWS Teams: Drive product and organizational development by working with internal teams such as Product Development and Business Development, contributing to AWS service roadmaps through Product Feature Request (PFR) management.
  • Leveraging Data & Building Repeatable Mechanisms: Use data to validate strategies, guide performance measures, and ensure the Customer Account team achieves the customer’s cloud vision and strategy.
  • Customer Engagement: Balance time between engaging with customers, partners, and internal AWS teams to orchestrate execution of targeted outcomes. Define opportunities, anticipate risks, and drive clarity for large-scale migrations, data and analytics, digital innovation, and more.
  • Influence and Leadership: Influence business and technical executive leaders at customer organizations, drive detailed discussions, and serve as the customer’s cloud journey coach. Evangelize customer needs within AWS leadership, product, and engineering teams.
  • Program Management: Manage business and technology initiatives across the full lifecycle, navigating risks, roadblocks, and trade-offs to deliver migration acceleration strategies effectively.
