Principal Consultant - Security

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Consultant - Security to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead complex, multi-discipline security consulting engagements and serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients throughout the project lifecycle. You will partner closely with project leads, discipline specialists, and production team members to deliver coordinated, high-quality outcomes while improving standards, documentation, and delivery workflows. The position also offers the opportunity to mentor others, strengthen QA/QC practices, and help drive continuous improvement across technical operations. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $145,000 – $180,000 annually Responsibilities Deliver complex multi-discipline projects as Project Lead Lead discipline-specific design efforts and elevate project quality Cultivate strong client relationships as a trusted technical advisor Mentor engineers and production team members to improve project outcomes Collaborate with leads to ensure consistent standards and resolve challenges Contribute to discipline documents and improvements through Pull Requests Identify and propose workflow improvements to enhance project efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field; or equivalent technical experience 8+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services with strong discipline-specific capability Demonstrated experience delivering coordinated, high-quality designs Ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects with minimal oversight Strong understanding of project delivery workflows and documentation standards Experience contributing to documentation updates and QA/QC workflows through GitHub or similar platforms Proficiency in Autodesk software, Microsoft 365 Suite, and GitHub Benefits Flexible work environment Opportunities for professional development Access to advanced tools and technologies Support for industry certifications Participation in conferences and networking events Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
