About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to join a growing consulting practice delivering Oracle solutions to public sector organisations. This is an exciting opportunity for a consultant with strong Oracle implementation experience and a solid understanding of public sector permitting and licensing processes. You will work closely with clients to deliver Oracle-based solutions, providing expert guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle and helping organisations optimise their business processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure and implement Oracle solutions for medium to large-scale public sector projects.
- Work with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Oracle solution designs.
- Provide expert advice on business processes and recommend best practice approaches.
- Resolve complex functional and implementation challenges.
- Design solutions that may include Oracle product extensions and integrations with third-party applications.
- Apply recognised implementation methodologies and delivery best practices throughout project engagements.
- Contribute to pre-sales and business development activities where required.
- Share knowledge, reusable assets and implementation best practices across the consulting team.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Continue developing expertise across Oracle applications, technologies and public sector solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years’ experience implementing and configuring Oracle enterprise applications.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience delivering solutions for public sector organisations.
- Strong experience documenting and analysing As-Is and To-Be business processes.
- Experience implementing Oracle solutions within one or more of the following domains:
- Permitting
- Licensing
- Planning
- Code Enforcement
- Experience configuring Oracle applications to meet complex business requirements.
- Knowledge of Oracle implementation methodologies and best practices.
- Experience working with Oracle solution extensions and third-party integrations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and consulting skills.
Qualifications
- Desirable Oracle Cloud certification(s) or other relevant Oracle professional certifications.
- Experience across additional Oracle applications or technologies.
- Experience supporting pre-sales activities, solution demonstrations or proposal development.
