Principal Computer Operations Analyst – Regional COSA (26-322)

About the Role
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a key component of the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system enabling the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to plan ballistic missile defense operations, monitor battles, and dynamically control networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission goals.
C2BMC supports layered missile defense capabilities, optimizing responses to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It serves as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems globally and regionally. The program is essential for ground and flight tests verifying current and future missile defense capabilities.
The chosen candidate will join a team reporting to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO), responsible for daily monitoring, operations, and maintenance of C2BMC systems in a 24/7 operational and testing environment at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. This role requires on-site work with no remote options.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC hardware, software, and networks.
- Document and report all events and issues to the CWO and receive tasks and direction from the CCC for all operations, tests, and real-world events.
- Assist with hardware and software installations as directed by local subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local Information System Security Officer (ISSO).
- Perform additional duties and tasks as needed.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, with 5 years of experience; OR a Master’s degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; OR 9 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Current, active in-scope Secret security clearance at the time of application, with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance and eligibility for SCI access.
- Current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, SecurityX, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP) at the time of application. The candidate must maintain this certification throughout the contract period.
- Sound background and experience in operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems.
- Experience in system and/or network administration, including Linux and Windows.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software components.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work rotating 24x7 shifts, including nights and weekends, as assigned based on mission requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current, active in-scope Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI access at the time of application.
- Experience and knowledge of C2BMC Systems or Missile Defense Systems.

Pay
Primary salary range: $94,200.00 – $141,200.00. The final offer considers scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Eligible employees may receive overtime pay, shift differentials, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company performance. Vice Presidents and Directors may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
Schedule
- Rotating 24x7 shift work, including nights and weekends.
- Shift and assignment (Operations or Training) determined by mission requirements.
