Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced network architectures and security measures
- Manage and optimize network performance and reliability
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies and enhance operational efficiency
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of network security and compliance
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in network engineering and cybersecurity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in network engineering or cybersecurity
- Proven track record of successful project management and team leadership
- Experience with network protocols, security frameworks, and cloud computing platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- CISSP certification preferred
- Experience with network design and implementation tools such as Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, or similar
- Knowledge of common network topologies and standards (e.g., IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, MPLS)
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Nagios, Splunk, Wireshark)
- Understanding of data center operations and virtualization technologies
Skills
- Technical proficiency in network engineering and cybersecurity
- Strong understanding of ITIL and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
