Principal Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to cloud infrastructure projects that enhance company objectives
• Communicate cloud strategy and compliance status to leadership
• Automate and orchestrate management of SaaS platforms and technical solutions
• Arcitect platform services with tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Serve as the primary cloud engineering lead for the company’s FedRAMP authorization initiative
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
• Participate in incident management and contribute to strategic planning for platform capabilities

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience required
• 7+ years of experience in developing production-level applications or automated deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code in a public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP) required
• Deep expertise with AWS services (such as EC2, S3, and Lambda); meaningful hands-on experience with GCP is preferred
• Expert-level experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible)
• Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53 security controls and the FedRAMP authorization process, including SSP documentation and continuous monitoring

Pay

$150,000 – $165,000 annually
