Principal Cloud DX Software Engineer (CI/CD)

For our client, a leader in the Enterprise Technology space, we are seeking a Principal Cloud DX Software Engineer to join their team. This role leads work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery, collaborating across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD and configuration management architecture for production environments
• Streamline the process of creating new production environments
• Define reference architectures tailored to cluster performance
• Address version skew and release cadence across environments
• Establish progressive delivery standards including canary and automated rollback
• Facilitate product team shipping without requiring platform knowledge
• Ensure reliability and speed of delivery pipelines

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering with a focus on CI/CD
• Proven track record in owning and operating CI/CD platforms
• Strong expertise in GitOps and declarative configuration at scale
• Hands-on experience in large-scale delivery systems
• Proficient in cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes platforms
• Experience in embedding AI tools into software development workflows
• Exceptional collaboration skills to influence cross-functional teams

$246,000 – $339,000 annually
