About the role

The Principal is responsible for helping our School reach high levels of academic achievement for all students. The Principal oversees all aspects of the instructional program and the School environment.

Responsibilities

• serve as the instructional leader for the building
• work with the District Administrative Team to articulate and implement our educational vision
• plan staff meetings and provide on-going professional development
• promote the use of academic data to inform instruction and interventions
• observe teachers and provide feedback
• communicate with parents and staff to promote a positive school climate
• address any behavioral or learning issues that the students present
• plan and submit a budget request to the Superintendent
• attend any meetings necessary for the operation of the School/District
• perform all the necessary administrative office functions required by the Superintendent
• adhere to all School Board policies and procedures
• perform all other reasonable educational requests directed by the Superintendent

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a valid certification as a Building Administrator (#040 endorsement).

• Knowledge of educational standards and best practices

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 per year.

Schedule

The Principal will work a standard Monday through Friday schedule.
