About the role
The Principal, Business Value & Strategy will lead the creation of vision and roadmap documents used by senior executives to drive business impact. They will develop perspectives and supporting materials to amplify Anaplan’s stories of business transformation and impact. This role will also contribute to the development and evolution of the Business Value & Strategy team capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Leading the creation of vision and roadmap documents used by senior executives to drive business impact.
- Developing perspectives and the supporting materials to amplify the Anaplan stories of business transformation and impact.
- Selling and scaling impact by creating reusable assets for others across Anaplan to elevate their customer engagements.
- Building strong relationships with regional sales leaders to be a key driver on strategic account planning and engagements.
- Contributing to the development and evolution of the Business Value & Strategy team capabilities.
- Influencing others so that they may facilitate value-focused discovery and deliver high-level business value impact in a consistent and effective approach.
Requirements
- Confirmed experience in value engineering, value selling, strategic consulting and F500 account sales in cloud application environments.
- Deep understanding of value selling methodology and processes, business model value chain, and value realization.
- Strong discernment in the business process areas of Planning & Analysis (Financial and Operational).
- Proven skill in facilitation of complex problem solving with groups of senior executives.
- Strong acuity in providing valuable insights to, and influence of internal GTM teams and external customers.
- Experience supporting the building and the continuous improvement of a GTM value practice.
- Demonstrated perspective on how AI and automation can be leveraged to scale value delivery with track record on moving beyond traditional slide-driven consulting toward more dynamic, technology-enabled solutions.
- Ability to drive qualitative and quantitative analysis in support of targeted key opportunities.
- Ability to travel for both customer engagements and internal meetings as necessary (50-75% post WFH environment).

- Base Salary Range: $181,000 USD - $244,000 USD
