Principal, Business Intelligence Architect

For our client, we are seeking a Principal, Business Intelligence Architect to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead the design and delivery of business intelligence capabilities that turn complex data into clear, actionable insight. You will partner closely with stakeholders across the organization to translate business needs into reporting and dashboard solutions that support better decision-making. This is a highly collaborative position with responsibility for data quality, technical architecture, and the ongoing improvement of BI practices in a regulated industry environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $114,622 – $206,321 annually Responsibilities Lead the design and development of business intelligence solutions, including reports and dashboards Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business needs into data solutions Troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues Develop and document technical requirements and design artifacts Establish data quality standards and monitoring processes Research and implement emerging technologies to enhance reporting capabilities Influence and direct cross-functional teams for effective solution delivery Qualifications BA/BS degree required 8+ years of experience in business intelligence and data management 4+ years in a leadership role managing teams or projects Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Java, and scripting languages Strong expertise in data architecture, ETL tools, and reporting best practices Experience with both structured and unstructured data, including SQL and NoSQL databases Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and wellness programs Paid time off and company-paid holidays Incentive compensation 401(k) with company match Life and disability insurance Tuition reimbursement Employee referral bonus Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
