Responsibilities
- Technical leadership of various aspects of the avionics platform system including Systems, Software, Tools and Hardware.
- Cross-team coordination and leadership.
- Requirements analysis.
- Safety analysis.
- Requirements decomposition.
- Systems/software design.
- Systems/software integration.
- Systems/software validation & verification.
- Customer interaction (primarily internal).
- Project oversight.
- Project coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- 15 or more years in systems and/or software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated leadership by influence experience.
- Experience with aspects of certification of large avionics systems.
- Experience with Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) platforms.
- Experience with cyber security aspects of product development.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering (preferably computer systems or electronics).
- Expert in systems and software development lifecycle.
- Able to find the correct balance between demand and capacity when establishing priorities for the organization.
- Leading diverse and global teams by influence.
- Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently takes the initiative to get things done.
- Multitasking and has the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks and people.
- Making autonomous decisions.
