Responsibilities

• Technical leadership of various aspects of the avionics platform system including Systems, Software, Tools and Hardware.
• Cross-team coordination and leadership.
• Requirements analysis.
• Safety analysis.
• Requirements decomposition.
• Systems/software design.
• Systems/software integration.
• Systems/software validation & verification.
• Customer interaction (primarily internal).
• Project oversight.
• Project coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 15 or more years in systems and/or software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated leadership by influence experience.
• Experience with aspects of certification of large avionics systems.
• Experience with Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) platforms.
• Experience with cyber security aspects of product development.
• Master’s Degree in Engineering (preferably computer systems or electronics).
• Expert in systems and software development lifecycle.
• Able to find the correct balance between demand and capacity when establishing priorities for the organization.
• Leading diverse and global teams by influence.
• Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently takes the initiative to get things done.
• Multitasking and has the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks and people.
• Making autonomous decisions.
