Principal Autonomous Systems Safety Engineer

For our client, a leader in the Enterprise Technology space, we are seeking a Principal Autonomous Systems Safety Engineer. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Derive technical safety requirements for engineering teams
• Implement validation and verification frameworks for E2E robotics solutions
• Navigate complex technical challenges to drive problem-solving
• Conduct risk assessments for safety reviews and feature development
• Identify necessary data and tools for fleet performance monitoring

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience in risk assessment and product safety
• 3+ years in developing safety-critical electronic and embedded systems
• Experience with safety reviews and risk assessments for autonomous vehicles
• Ability to architect V&V frameworks for robotics applications
• Strong communication skills, with awareness of legal and regulatory requirements
• Knowledge of relevant ISO standards and systems engineering fundamentals
• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering fields

$174,000 – $305,000 annually
