The Role and Impact
Architects end-to-end system software for a specific technology, product/platform, or market segment, including software structure and bounding box, firmware, drivers, frameworks, cross component, interfaces/interactions/interoperability, protocols, algorithms, and applications.
Responsible for pathfinding and providing the technical direction for software development and validation.
Engages with customers on technical requirements/discussions and interacts with technologists across Intel and within the industry to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 12+ years equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in: Platform, computer, software architecture or engineering.
- 5+ years of expertise and credibility in industry for manageability expertise across standards organizations, such as DMTF and OCP.
- 5+ years of experience participating and guiding the work in industry standards communities, preferably in leadership roles.
