About the role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect / Senior Solutions Architect to lead architecture efforts for a large‑scale Commercial Loan Servicing Transformation initiative. In this role, you will partner closely with Product, Delivery, Engineering, and Enterprise Architecture teams to translate business objectives into secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions. As the lead solution architect, you will be responsible for defining end‑to‑end solution architectures, driving technical design decisions, identifying risks and dependencies, and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices. While the solution landscape spans multiple platforms and integrations, Salesforce will be a key component and requires strong architectural understanding.

Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture & Delivery: Lead the design of enterprise technology solutions that support business objectives and strategic initiatives; translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable solution architectures; define integration patterns and architecture designs across enterprise applications and platforms; partner with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Domain Architects, and technical teams to drive solution decisions; ensure architecture compliance with enterprise standards, governance, security, and regulatory requirements; conduct architecture reviews and gain stakeholder alignment across impacted teams; identify architectural risks, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints, and recommend mitigation strategies; support projects through the full lifecycle, from concept and design through implementation and delivery.
• Strategic Architecture: Develop architecture roadmaps aligned with business and technology strategies; evaluate current technology landscapes and identify opportunities for optimization and modernization; recommend innovative technology solutions to improve business processes and operational efficiency; partner with business and enterprise architecture teams to define future‑state architecture capabilities.
• Leadership & Governance: Influence stakeholders and drive consensus on architectural decisions; mentor architects, engineers, and technical teams while promoting architectural best practices; contribute to enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and governance processes; document solution architecture designs, decisions, and analysis artifacts; support the continuous evolution of architecture frameworks and operating models.

Requirements

• Significant experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or related technical leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture and ecosystem, including: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce, Customer 360, Data Cloud / Data 360, core Salesforce data model (standard and custom objects), Apex and Lightning Web Components (high‑level understanding).
• Experience designing and integrating solutions across cloud and SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
• Experience incorporating AI capabilities into enterprise solutions while considering security, governance, risk management, and operational controls.
• Understanding of modern application architecture, system integration, security, and scalability best practices.
• Strong background in software engineering and enterprise system design.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive architecture decisions independently.

Qualifications

• Banking, Financial Services, or Lending industry experience.
• Experience supporting commercial lending or loan servicing platforms.
• Hands‑on experience using AI‑assisted tools for architecture documentation, analysis, governance, or process improvement.
• Salesforce certifications and architecture credentials are a plus.

Pay

$80.00 – $90.00 USD per hour.

Schedule

Contract‑to‑hire engagement running from November 2, 2026 through March 1, 2027. Work arrangement is four days onsite in Columbus, OH and one day remote per week.
