About the role
Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products with a focus on exceeding customer expectations, ensuring high quality, and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanisms.
- Understand complex products, solutions, and problems.
- Create, document, and execute software designs, potentially involving significant re-architecture of important systems.
- Define and coordinate implementation of wide-reaching impacts.
- Act as a Technical Lead for projects spanning multiple products, recognized by customers as leaders in various areas.
- Set the technical direction for more than one area of a product, solving complex technical problems sought after by others.
- Guide junior engineers and work independently on complex projects with complete latitude for independent judgment.
- Manage assigned projects, including defining scope, plans, schedules, and deliverables.
- Research and maintain technical expertise in area of specialty, communicating status of all projects, tools, and environments.
- Document all processes and procedures.
Requirements
Typically requires twenty or more years of experience and a master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of programming in C++ language with object-oriented methodology.
- Expert knowledge of Emulation compiler and technologies.
- Ability to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Expert knowledge of digital design concepts.
- Experience working with large software development teams across many geographical locations.
- Expert program and system development skills.
Skills
