Principal Architect

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Architect to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will shape architecture strategy for strategic financial services engagements, with a strong emphasis on agentic AI, enterprise platforms, and solution design. The Principal Architect will partner with executives, delivery teams, and key stakeholders to translate complex business needs into scalable, governable architectures. This position also supports prototype development, reusable assets, and smooth handoff from design into delivery while keeping regulatory considerations front and center. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $160,000 – $190,000 annually Responsibilities Lead the design of agentic AI architecture for strategic financial services accounts Co-build prototypes and proof-of-value assets using customer data and modern development tools Deliver engagement models that improve operational efficiency and governance Package architectural designs and documentation for seamless handoff to delivery teams Advise executives on translating architecture into business value while adhering to regulatory constraints Mentor team members and contribute to reusable assets and reference architectures Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution Qualifications 10+ years in enterprise or solution architecture, particularly in financial services sectors such as banking and insurance Deep hands-on experience with enterprise platform solutions, including Financial Services Cloud and enterprise integration platforms Practical experience in designing AI solutions, including LLM-based agents and agent orchestration Proficiency in coding and using AI-assisted development tools, with familiarity in Git workflows Knowledge of financial services regulatory requirements and their impact on architecture decisions Strong executive presence to engage with C-level stakeholders effectively Team-oriented mindset, with a collaborative approach to shared success Benefits Comprehensive support for work-life balance and personal development Access to resources that enhance professional growth and productivity Opportunities to work with cutting-edge AI technologies and solutions Collaborative environment that fosters teamwork and shared success Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
