Responsibilities
Requirements Validation (RV)
- Own and manage Provider+ functional requirements.
- Lead requirement validation discussions and client review sessions.
- Ensure acceptance criteria and "How Requirement is Met" documentation are complete and accurate.
- Maintain requirement metadata, dependencies, system components, and configuration mapping.
- Facilitate requirement demonstrations with project teams.
- Review and validate Business Process Models (BPMs).
- Manage Business Rules Questionnaires to capture client-specific rules.
- Track decisions, assumptions, risks, issues, and gaps.
- Enforce documentation quality, governance, and traceability standards.
- Manage DEV environment readiness, smoke testing, and release validation.
- Support Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) development.
Design
- Plan and facilitate design workshops and review sessions.
- Manage completion of design documentation and business rule artifacts.
- Coordinate design demonstrations and client reviews.
- Address and resolve design comments and feedback.
- Ensure alignment across interfaces, reports, workflows, letters, and security components.
- Support Product Change Requests (CRs) identified during requirements or design activities.
- Create Solution Design Documents (SDDs) as required.
- Maintain Configuration Workbooks and design artifacts.
Build / Configuration
- Lead Provider+ configuration planning and execution.
- Oversee configuration for enrollment, maintenance, revalidation, and related processes.
- Ensure configuration aligns with approved design and documented business rules.
- Produce or validate unit testing outcomes.
- Coordinate client-facing build demonstrations.
- Govern configuration changes and change-control processes.
System Integration Testing (SIT)
- Serve as the functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) during testing.
- Review test cases for requirement and acceptance criteria coverage.
- Provide Provider+ SME support during SIT execution.
- Support defect investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution.
- Validate that fixes align with intended business outcomes.
- Track resolution of functional gaps across Product and Implementation teams.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Provide functional SME support during UAT.
- Assist with user questions, training validation, and defect resolution.
- Verify solution readiness against documented requirements.
- Support retesting and final issue disposition activities.
Operational Readiness Review (ORR)
- Support environment, process, resource, and operational readiness activities.
- Provide Provider+ input to client ORR reviews.
- Support parallel and performance testing activities.
- Assist with cutover planning and transition-to-operations readiness.
Cross-Phase Leadership Responsibilities
- Maintain end-to-end traceability from requirements through testing.
- Manage domain-level RAID logs, decisions, and action items.
- Coordinate across Product, AD&I, Training, Testing, and Technical teams.
- Support knowledge transfer activities, SOP development, and hypercare readiness.
- Serve as the primary functional authority for the Provider+ domain from project initiation through go-live and stabilization.
Requirements
- Ten or more years of application architecture and/or product development experience.
- Experience working with architecture framework methodologies such as TOGAF.
- Experience with software systems, applications, and supporting infrastructure.
- Experience with application design principles and product configurations.
- Familiarity with programming languages, databases, tooling, operating systems, infrastructure, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with software development lifecycles and client requirements.
- Leadership skills to guide and mentor less experienced personnel.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers, support personnel, application development personnel, and management.
Qualifications
- Enterprise Architecture experience within a Healthcare environment (strongly preferred).
- Experience driving Enterprise Architecture initiatives for large Accounts, State and Federal Accounts.
- Experience producing technical roadmaps, architecture diagrams, and supporting documentation.
- Experience conducting technical research, testing, and evaluation of complex IT systems.
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile.
Schedule
United States remote opportunity. Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $118,800.00 - $169,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
