Principal Analyst, Public Cloud

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Analyst, Public Cloud to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead forward-looking research on public cloud platforms and strategies, helping technology executives and cloud leaders make informed decisions. You will develop actionable insights on market direction, platform selection, and the implications of major hyperscale providers for enterprise environments. The position also combines primary research, client advisory work, and the creation of high-impact thought leadership content. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $141,000 – $229,000 annually Responsibilities Lead research on public cloud platforms and strategies Develop insights for technology executives and cloud leaders Conduct primary research on cloud strategy and platform selection Analyze market positions of public cloud providers and their implications Create high-quality research projects, including reports and webinars Drive Wave and landscape research in public cloud markets Consult with clients to apply research in their business contexts Qualifications BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience required 10+ years in roles such as cloud architect, technology strategist, or research analyst focused on public cloud Deep knowledge of the public cloud market and major hyperscale platforms Experience with cloud strategy, architecture, and operations in enterprise environments Strong understanding of cloud-native development and multicloud management Ability to evaluate technology platforms through both technical and business lenses Superior communication and presentation skills Benefits Exposure to industry experts and Fortune 1000 business leaders Access to influential research World-class learning and development opportunities Global reach with offices in over 25 cities Collaborative and intellectually curious colleagues Unique workplace perks like onsite massages and fitness facilities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
