Principal, AI Architect

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise-grade AI platform architecture
• Develop architectural standards and guidelines for AI workloads
• Translate business needs into scalable and secure technical designs
• Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions for AI frameworks and cloud services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on AI solutions
• Provide mentorship to engineering teams on AI services and pipelines
• Champion engineering excellence and standardization through governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field required; master’s degree preferred
• 8–10+ years of progressive software/platform engineering experience, particularly in AI/ML system architecture
• Hands-on experience with production AI systems using LLMs, RAG pipelines, and orchestration frameworks
• In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud architecture for distributed systems design
• Experience in regulated industries is preferred, indicating familiarity with compliance expectations

Pay

$130,000 – $180,000 annually
