About the role
This role partners with business stakeholders to understand and solve business problems. Primarily responsible for building insights and analytics while providing subject matter expertise, technical knowledge, and analytic product ownership. The role supports a new team (squad) within Enterprise Operations Insights (EOI) dedicated to the Neuromodulation operating unit within Medtronic. The mission is to contribute to building INSIGHTS to drive best-in-class practices and tools supporting the Neuromodulation OU.
This role requires collaboration with other departments within EOI, including running daily scrum meetings with the Analytics Development Team and the Data Engineering Team to manage the creation and deployment of solutions that simplify customer processes and generate insights aligned with customer goals. The role involves generating insights to share with the business and providing excellent customer service to help stakeholders perform at their best. The role emphasizes decisiveness, courage, experimentation, and calculated risk-taking to create simple, innovative, and optimal solutions for stakeholders. Additionally, the role seeks best practices, educates stakeholders, and drives data-based decisions and workflows.
For Minnesota candidates: Medtronic fosters in-person exchanges as invaluable to our work. Employees are expected to work a minimum of 4 days a week onsite at our Minnesota sites to support professional growth and cross-functional collaboration.
This position is fully remote, but candidates located near any Medtronic facility are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the ideation and creation of analytical solutions for various functions.
- Capture requirements and suggest improvements for analytical processes.
- Collaborate extensively across cross-functional teams and the organization.
- Drive the development and deployment of analytical solutions, fostering analytics and insights that yield positive business outcomes.
- Ensure the development of Analytics & Insights aligns with the End-to-End (E2E) business processes and business objectives.
- Act as a key resource to support and drive analytics initiatives.
- Ensure a high level of customer value and satisfaction through extreme ownership.
- Promote the adoption and usage of analytics tools and insights.
- Support training of analytic tools.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of solutions.
- Serve as a steward of your analytics by generating insights for business use cases.
Travel: Up to 25%, although often only once a quarter.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Marketing Analytics, Finance Analytics, and Salesforce Analytics with past responsibilities as a Product Owner in a Scrum environment.
- Ability to influence decisions and drive projects to completion.
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
Skills
- SQL and Snowflake data model experience (nice to have).
- Visualization experience such as PowerBI (nice to have).
- PowerApps and Power Automate experience (nice to have).
- Experience working with Agile tools such as DevOps (nice to have).

Pay
Salary ranges for U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) locations: $123,200.00 - $184,800.00 USD.
Ireland: 80,240.00 EUR - 120,360.00 EUR.
The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
