About the role
To oversee and manage transactional processes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate documentation for financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the Transaction Services and Documentation activities are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and help the bank manage legal and reputational risks associated with these activities.
- Cookordination with internal and external stakeholders, including legal counsel, credit risk management, and other departments, to ensure that transactions are executed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Create, review, negotiate and manage legal documents such as loan agreements, security documents, and other transactional documents, to ensure execution in a timely and efficient manner.
- Transaction support, including preparation of transaction summaries, conducting due diligence, and support to other departments as needed.
- Develop and implement transaction processes and procedures to ensure that transactions are executed consistently.
- Proactively identify, communicate, and provide legal advice on applicable laws, rules and regulations (LRRs). Keep up to date with changes to LRRs in the relevant coverage area. Ensure that LRRs are effectively allocated to, and adequately reflected within, the relevant policies, standards and controls.
Requirements
- Experience with the suite of capital markets contract documentation identified above, including the drafting, negotiating, and executing of these agreements.
- Working with the prime services, prime derivatives services, and related financing businesses.

- Extensive legal analysis and written/oral communication skills.
- Ability to advise senior stakeholders on risk, controls, and legal requirements.
- Prominent capability to manage complex negotiations and execute documentation under tight timelines.

Pay
Minimum Salary: $200,000
Maximum Salary: $260,000
