Primary Therapist (LPCC/LMFT) - Behavioral Health Job Type: Full-Time (In-Person) Schedule Monday - Thursday: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Setting: Outpatient Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Primary Therapist to join our behavioral health team in a structured PHP/IOP program (state-certified and Joint Commission accredited). This role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health care through individual therapy, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations (DSM-5 criteria)Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practicesProvide individual therapy sessions tailored to client needsDeliver crisis intervention and stabilization when requiredManage a caseload of up to 30 clientsCollaborate with a multidisciplinary care team for coordinated treatmentMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient recordsParticipate in care coordination, case management, and patient educationSupport clients in achieving emotional, behavioral, and functional goals Qualifications Master's degree in one of the following fields:Marriage and Family TherapyCounseling / Clinical Mental Health CounselingPsychologySocial Work (only if aligned with licensure requirements)Active California licensure at time of hire:LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) ORLMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)Strong knowledge of Psychotherapy techniques, Crisis intervention and behavioral management, DSM-5 diagnostic criteriaExperience in PHP, IOP, outpatient, or clinical settingsExperience with treatment planning and whole-person care modelsMinimum 2-3 years of experience is required Benefits 100% employer-paid health insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid Time Off (PTO) / Vacation
