Primary Therapist

What You’ll Do

• Conduct assessments and craft personalized treatment plans
• Facilitate engaging individual, family, and group therapies
• Be the go-to clinical contact for families, ensuring proactive and open communication
• Lead dynamic therapy sessions using Newport Healthcare’s innovative clinical model and Attachment-Based Family Therapy techniques
• Conduct risk or crisis assessments and provide timely interventions and management
• Join weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision sessions to share insights and collaborate with colleagues

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field or enrollment in Doctorate program from an accredited or state approved graduate school required
• MN License in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or Clinical Psychologist required
• Non-licensed candidates will be considered for a non-exempt role and require a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related therapeutic field is required
• If your degree is in a closely related field and you are pursuing an LPCC, you must demonstrate that your education meets the coursework requirements of the license, either through your own comparison or an unofficial review with the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy
• Experience with individual, family, and/or group therapy with young adults/adolescents preferred
• Experience with mental health, substance abuse, eating disorders, or trauma-informed treatment preferred

Pay

Compensation for this role ranges from $77,000 - $100,000 depending on education, licensure and experience. An individual’s pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.
