Primary Therapist
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis:
- C Conduct thorough psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- B Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- C Utilize evidence-based assessment tools and techniques.
- Therapeutic Services:
- A Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- B Apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.
- C Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- D Facilitate crisis intervention and stabilization as required.
- Case Management:
- A Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers.
- B Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation.
- C Advocate for patient needs and assist with accessing community resources and support services.
- Collaboration and Consultation:
- A Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
- B Provide consultation and training to other staff members as needed.
- C Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with best practices in the field.
- Compliance and Ethical Practice:
- A Adhere to all legal, ethical, and professional standards, including HIPAA regulations.
- B Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and accreditation standards.
- C Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.
- Education and Licensure:
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- B Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
- Experience:
- A Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
- B Experience providing therapy in individual, group, and family settings.
- C Experience with a diverse client population, including individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
- Skills and Abilities:
- A Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
- B Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- C Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- D Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- E Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A Full-time position with a standard workweek.
- B Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.
- C Work is performed in a clinical office setting.
- D Ability to sit for extended periods.
- E Ability to use standard office equipment, including a computer.
- F Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
