About the role

Only internal DCIDS applicants will be considered for this role. Responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of Hospital Services which includes hospital performance assessments, performance improvement initiatives and outcomes. Responsible for staff performance evaluations and improvement initiatives, to include identifying and providing educational needs and resources.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the general activity of the Hospital Services staff and provides guidance as necessary. Meets on a routine basis to ensure professional education, performance improvement, and hospital partnerships are implemented and consistent with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Oversees the development and implementation of plans for all hospitals to facilitate growth in the organ and tissue donation. Evaluates activities against established plan and works with coordinators to revise as necessary. Identifies and solves problems related to the provision of service with the hospital. Works in collaboration with hospitals’ QAPI departments to ensure hospital performance.
• Performs Hospital Services Coordinator role in a limited number of hospitals.
• Prepares, distributes and analyzes surveys, conducts one on one interviews with key individuals, and tracks and analyzes donor and referral patterns. Documents and communicates findings to appropriate DCIDS leadership.
• Evaluates hospital services staff performance. Provides coaching, counseling and education as necessary. Acts as the liaison to clinical staff to facilitate communication and uniformity
