Primary Operator

About the role

This full-time Primary Operator position is based in St. Marys, PA, working a 3x3 schedule on night shift (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) and reports to the Manager of Primary Operations.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely operate equipment, including making adjustments to ensure product quality.
• Follow procedures applicable to this job classification.
• Legibly record and maintain applicable product/process information.
• Effectively utilize measuring equipment to ensure continuation of control conditions.
• Provide active input to continuous process improvement.
• Communicate job-related information to co-workers, supervisors, service areas, and others with a need to know.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areas.
• Assist in writing or revising procedures.
• Participate in the training of others and aid in their appraisal.
• Perform other tasks as requested.

Requirements

• Able to read and understand procedures, process sheets, and similar documents.
• Able to perform basic math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Understand decimals, fractions, percentages, and averages.
• Able to write legible sentences.

Schedule

3x3 night shift (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.).

Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package.
