Primary Elementary Educator (KG-3)

About the role

The Primary Elementary Educator (KG–3) is a full-time, on-site position located in New Berlin, WI.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement lesson plans
• Manage the classroom environment
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs
• Monitor student progress
• Provide timely feedback to students and families
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and support staff
• Participate in professional learning communities
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting student achievement and well-being
• Communicate regularly with caregivers
• Attend school events
• Support extracurricular or enrichment activities as appropriate

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Teaching and Elementary Education, with demonstrated effectiveness in instructing students in kindergarten through third grade
• Skills in Curriculum Development and Education, including the ability to design standards-aligned, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
• Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to engage students, collaborate with colleagues, and partner with families and the community
• Relevant qualifications include a valid state teaching license for elementary/primary grades and a bachelor’s degree in Education or a closely related field
• Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with differentiated instruction, social-emotional learning, data-informed practices, and familiarity with Professional Learning Community (PLC) models
• Ability to integrate technology into classroom instruction
• Maintain an inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment
• Participate in ongoing professional development
