Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Primary Care Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed regional sales objectives for ZORYVE.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard a high-performing field team; build a strong bench and a culture of accountability, urgency, and integrity.
- Translate national brand strategy into regional execution; develop and own a regional business plan with clear priorities, KPIs, and pull-through tactics.
- Conduct regular field rides, deliver real-time coaching, and develop reps across clinical selling, business acumen, access navigation, and territory management.
- Drive performance management — set clear expectations, deliver candid feedback, and address underperformance with discipline and care.
- Analyze regional performance data, prescriber trends, and market dynamics to inform resource allocation and tactical adjustments.
- Partner closely with dermatology regional leadership, market access, MSLs, marketing, and training to ensure aligned account strategy and seamless cross-team execution.
- Manage regional budgets, speaker programs, and promotional resources in compliance with all Arcutis policies and applicable regulations.
- Represent Arcutis at regional and national meetings, conferences, and KOL engagements.
- Operate with the highest level of integrity, compliance, and professionalism — model the Arcutis Operating Principles as the standard for the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) a plus.
- 7+ years of primary care, pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience, with 2+ years of field sales management experience.
- Primary care leadership experience (family medicine, internal medicine, and/or pediatrics).
- Documented track record of leading teams that exceed sales goals in competitive, access-driven markets.
- Demonstrated success hiring, developing, managing and retaining top sales talent.
- Strong clinical and business acumen; able to coach reps on translating complex science into a primary care conversation.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Able to travel extensively within region (50%+); some overnight travel required.
Preferrred Qualifications
- Launch leadership experience — building a team, region, or territory from the ground up.
- Experience leading teams promoting dermatology, immunology, or specialty products in the primary care channel.
- Existing network of strong primary care and pediatric sales talent in the assigned geography.
- Experience navigating buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, or prior authorization in a primary care setting.
