About the role

Work closely with medical and mental health providers to support primary care patients of all ages through counseling on conditions like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, weight management, and food allergies. Provide preventative education, including Well Child Checks, prenatal counseling, and family health guidance, using motivational interviewing to tailor nutrition interventions in a supportive environment. Identify patient needs proactively, offer same-day no-cost access, and collaborate with the care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality nutrition support. Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized plans considering cultural and social factors, and stay engaged with community resources. Precept interns, develop training, and support clinical staff development while maintaining compliance with organizational and quality standards.

Requirements

  • A Master’s in Dietetics (or Bachelor's for pre-Jan 2024 credentialed dietitians).
  • Completion of an ACEND-accredited program.
  • RD registration.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Pay

Salary ranges from $32.76-$48.23/hour with a $5,000 hiring/retention bonus.
