Primary Care Registered Dietitian

About the role

The Registered Dietitian collaborates with medical and mental health providers to support patients of all ages with conditions like diabetes, heart disease, weight management, digestive issues, and food allergies. They offer counseling, preventive education, and culturally tailored interventions using motivational interviewing in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments
• Develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with the care team
• Mentor interns and staff

Requirements

• Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s for grandfathered candidates)
• RD credential
• PREFERRED: Bilingual skills
