Primary Care Provider - Physician

About the Role

The Physician provides comprehensive, ongoing healthcare including routine and emergency care, supporting health promotion and preventative medicine within a community-focused, nonprofit health network. The role involves maintaining certifications, documenting patient records, submitting charges promptly, and adhering to compliance and organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in practice call schedules and organizational meetings
• Maintain board certification and required credentials (BLS, PALS)
• Support the organization’s mission, vision, and community engagement
• Supervise colleagues as needed and contribute to peer review processes
• Provide excellent patient care and serve as a community ambassador
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely billing

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of an accredited residency
• Active, unrestricted medical license; board certification or eligibility
• Preferably 3+ years of practice experience and bilingual in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of HIPAA, compliance protocols, and healthcare policies
• Physical ability to perform job duties; accommodations available if needed
