Primary Care Provider - Medical Staff

Comprehensive Primary Care Services

• Perform physical examinations and obtain medical histories
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and heart disease
• Provide health maintenance screenings and immunizations
• Offer counseling and education on wellness, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
• Cook up referrals to specialists and follow up on consultative services

Documentation and Compliance

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and organizational regulations

Collaboration and Teamwork

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Participate in team-based care meetings
